Roles and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web and mobile applications.

Implement CI/CD test automation in pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

Identify, document, and track bugs through defect management tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.

Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases and automation reports.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous process improvements in testing practices.

Ensure product quality through effective automation coverage and quick feedback loops.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3–5 years of hands-on experience in test automation for web and/or mobile applications.

Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.

Familiarity with REST API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.

Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good to Have

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

Knowledge of cloud-based test environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Familiarity with Docker and containerized testing environments.

ISTQB or equivalent certification.
