We are looking for a skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our growing data team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of modern data pipelines and architectures.
Roles and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and related Azure services.

Build and optimize data storage solutions in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Data Lake Storage (ADLS).

Work with structured and unstructured data to ensure reliable data ingestion, transformation, and integration.

Implement data models, data warehousing, and data integration frameworks to support analytics and reporting needs.

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver clean, accurate, and scalable datasets.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Apply data governance, security, and compliance best practices across data solutions.

Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4–7 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in a cloud environment.

Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure data services, including:

Azure Data Factory (ADF)
-
Azure Synapse Analytics / SQL Data Warehouse

Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)

Azure SQL / Cosmos DB
-

Proficiency in SQL and Python or PySpark for data processing.

Experience with ETL/ELT design, data modeling, and data warehouse concepts.

Understanding of DevOps for Data and CI/CD pipelines (using Azure DevOps, Git).

Familiarity with Power BI integration or other visualization tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good to Have

Experience with Databricks or Apache Spark on Azure.

Knowledge of DataBricks Delta Lake, ADF Mapping Data Flows, or Event Hub / Stream Analytics.

Exposure to machine learning pipelines and data quality frameworks.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
